Le Rottweiler est une race originaire d'Allemagne. En tant que club de race du pays d'origine, l'Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub (ADRK) est responsable de l'élaboration et de l'évolution des caractéristiques du standard de la race.

La Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) reconnaît et publie ce standard sous le numéro 147, afin de servir de référence commune aux organisations cynologiques qui appliquent ses standards.

Le True North Rottweiler Klub reconnaît le standard FCI no 147 comme référence pour la préservation du type racial, de la structure, du tempérament et des aptitudes fonctionnelles du Rottweiler.

Notre objectif est de promouvoir un Rottweiler fidèle à ses origines : un chien équilibré, puissant, sain et fonctionnel, dont la conformation et le tempérament reflètent son héritage de chien de travail.

The Rottweiler is a breed of German origin. As the breed club in its country of origin, the Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub (ADRK) is responsible for developing and maintaining the defining characteristics of the Rottweiler breed standard.

The Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) recognizes and publishes this standard as FCI Standard No. 147, providing a common reference for canine organizations that follow its breed standards.
